Responsible for helping with the care and supervision of various camper groups. Will help lead and participate in various activities. Will help ensure camper safety, the care of equipment and enforcement of camp rules. Help in the supervision of campers day and night. Setting a good Christian example for the children and staff should be the center of your thoughts.

Basic duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Attending Staff Orientation and Training
• Demonstrate search areas in drills
• Follow all staff/camper rules set by the Director
• Help in leading activities (activity period)
• Attending Bible Study
• Participate in Arts and Craft program
• To be with Counselor Group at all times, except during assigned activity periods
• Cabin Duty
• Beach duties: Buddy board, Aquatic Observers, Beach duty, Beach activity
• Taking campers to the showers
• Campfire program, songs and stories
• Swimming
• Counselor-camper discussion time and creative time
• Cleaning of staff quarters and camp facilities after each use
• To report any staff or camper incident to the Director

Qualifications and Training Requirements

16 & 17 years of age, with experience or desire to work with children
• Must attend staff Orientation and Training session before camp
• CPR and First Aid skills helpful
